About Akino (Flushing)

Sushi All You Can Eat

Located at 133-42 39th Ave Ste 103, Flushing, NY 11354, Akino (Flushing) operates as a japanese serving Flushing in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Flushing, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 12–11 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Akino (Flushing) at (718) 210-2331; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is akinonyc.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 750 reviews, which is a strong result for a japanese in Flushing and suggests consistent service.

Flushing is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Flushing is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Akino Flushing, I visit and review a lot of restaurants, and this one genuinely stands out. The food, the service, and the price all hit at the same time that combination is rarer than people think. The concept is simple and executed perfectly. You order directly from an iPad at your table, and everything comes out fresh to order. Even the fried items are made right when you order hot, crispy, never sitting. For all-you-can-eat sushi, that's a real differentiator. The service runs at a level I rarely see. Hot tea gets refilled the moment it drops to halfway without you ever asking. Every single server is warm, attentive, and well trained. The whole staff treats you like family, and you feel it from the moment you walk in. Special shoutout to Nancy, Nancy, Steven, and Angel but the truth is, everyone here operates at that same standard. The price point is almost hard to believe given everything you're getting. I've been here multiple times and it hasn't slipped once. If you're in Flushing, Akino is not optional.

Great variety of appetizers, sushi, sashimi, and rolls. My main complaint is that the seating is incredibly uncomfortable, and we were placed in a strange small table very close to strangers. The napkin dispenser took up most of the table space and there was nowhere to place the ordering tablet and unless you want to put your bags on the floor, you have to hold them in your lap. The very limited space allows barely any room for plates. Also I find it strange that for the price of the meal, this establishment still uses prepackaged wasabi and ginger.

Akino opened a new location in Flushing! I love their Elmhurst location so I was excited to see this open up in the heart of Flushing. They take reservations so definitely book ahead of time. I went with my family on a holiday for dinner and every table was packed. You get 2 hours to order as much as you want from an iPad. I liked that you don’t have to wait for a server to order and the food comes out pretty quickly. Drinks are not included but dessert is. On the day we went, it was a jasmine milk tea with pudding, which was pretty good. For $55/person after tax and tip, it’s definitely worth it!

Delicious all you can eat sushi for a reasonable price - I went during lunchtime and had a blast. Sushi tasted fresh, the place was clean, and the service was good. For the lunchtime pricing special, they do not have sashimi but that's totally fine. Looking forward to going back

Fresh, high-quality sashimi and a huge menu with tons of options to order. Everything came out nicely plated and tasted clean and fresh. For an all-you-can-eat spot, it’s definitely worth the price, especially if you love salmon and tuna.
